Add up what runs at the same time and keep it under the continuous figure. Sizing a food truck or coffee cart? <a href=\"\/fr\/food-truck-inverter-power\/\">230 V power for food trucks<\/a> walks through the arithmetic.<\/p>\n<h3>Battery, cable and fuse<\/h3>\n<p>At full load the IC121040 draws about 94 A from a 12 V bank. Size the bank from what you run and for how long, not from the inverter&#8217;s rating. Worked example, the same one as in our <a href=\"\/fr\/food-truck-inverter-power\/\">food truck guide<\/a>: a coffee machine and fridge averaging 300\u2013500 W across a six-hour day draw about 200\u2013250 Ah, and Fullriver rate the DC series to 80% depth of discharge, so the bank is about 300 Ah. For this model we usually pair one <a href=\"\/fr\/produit\/batterie-a-decharge-profonde-fullriver-dc210-12\/\">DC210-12<\/a> (210 Ah).<\/p>\n<p>KISAE&#8217;s manual asks for at least AWG 2 (34 mm\u00b2) DC cable, no longer than 1.5 m (5 ft), with a fuse or breaker of at least 150 A at the battery. The <a href=\"\/fr\/produit\/kit-de-fusibles-pour-cable-cc-donduleur-kisae-awg2-3-pieds-cb2-03\/\">KISAE AWG 2 cable and fuse set<\/a> is made for it.<\/p>\n<p>The charger can be set to 5, 10, 20 or 40 A. Fullriver recommend a bulk current of about 20% of the bank&#8217;s capacity, so the full 40 A suits that 210 Ah bank, and the lower settings suit smaller banks. Not sure what you need?
