A DataCell IIe monitor tracks every bank; intelligently controlled power gateways then decide where charge goes, which banks supplement the load during silent watch, and when a bank must be isolated to protect it. Crews control the banks from a central dash panel, and the whole system is configured in software for the vehicle type and mission profile.<\/p>\n<p>The operational results are measurable: 25\u201350% longer silent watch through power sharing, no unexpected brownouts of radios or sensors, less engine running to recharge, fewer battery replacements and lower maintenance.
