About this product
The Fullriver Full Throttle FT1250-4DLT is a Group 4D dual-purpose AGM for large marine diesels and heavy house banks. Thin-plate pure-lead AGM construction delivers 1250 cold-cranking amps and 2200 A of pulse cranking, with 175 Ah of reserve capacity behind it — so it will spin a big diesel in the morning and still carry the house loads through the night. Sealed, non-spillable and vibration-resistant, it needs no maintenance and can be shipped by air, sea and road as non-hazardous goods.
Where it fits
A drop-in for any Group 4D tray: single-engine diesels of 200–500 hp, twin installations that share a start bank, generators, and hybrid start/house roles on cruising yachts and workboats. If your existing 4D wet cell is due for replacement, the FT1250-4DLT gives you sealed, maintenance-free power in the same footprint with far more cranking headroom.

Installation and charging
Mount upright or on its side (never inverted), strapped or held down — no battery box is required for a sealed AGM. Charge with an AGM profile: bulk/absorption 14.4–14.7 V and float 13.6–13.7 V at 25 °C, with temperature compensation in a hot engine room. Recommended charge current is 20–25 % of the Ah rating, so give this battery a charger that can deliver 35 A or more. Not sure of the right size or charger for your boat?
