About this product
The Fullriver Full Throttle FT1450-8D is a Group 8D dual-purpose AGM — the most powerful battery in the Full Throttle range. Thin-plate pure-lead AGM construction delivers 1450 cold-cranking amps and 2400 A of pulse cranking, with 225 Ah of reserve capacity behind it — so it will spin a big diesel in the morning and still carry the house loads through the night. Sealed, non-spillable and vibration-resistant, it needs no maintenance and can be shipped by air, sea and road as non-hazardous goods.
Where it fits
The standard replacement for any Group 8D tray: large single and twin diesels, commercial vessels, big generators, and combined start/house banks on motor yachts. With 225 Ah behind 1450 CCA it will start the biggest engines we see in Thai marinas and still run a full night of refrigeration and lighting between charges.

Installation and charging
Mount upright or on its side (never inverted), strapped or held down — no battery box is required for a sealed AGM. Charge with an AGM profile: bulk/absorption 14.4–14.7 V and float 13.6–13.7 V at 25 °C, with temperature compensation in a hot engine room. Recommended charge current is 20–25 % of the Ah rating, so give this battery a charger that can deliver 45 A or more. Not sure of the right size or charger for your boat?
