Abso 1000W Inverter Charger with 40A Charger. FREE BTS-10K temperature sensor included.
Our price is the manufacturer's home-market RRP — what this gear sells for where it's made. Branded marine equipment in Thailand typically retails 15–90% above that, when prices are published at all. Ours doesn't.
The perfect balance of power, combining a pure sine wave inverter with a smart battery charger
Combines KISAE’s renowned true sinewave inverter technology with its smart battery charger technology, resulting in the ability to run household appliances, electronics and power tools in your truck, boat or caravan and properly recharge your batteries.
FREE battery temperature sensor included. Every compatible Kisae charger from us ships with a free BTS-10K battery temperature sensor — temperature-compensated charging matches the charge voltage to your battery’s real temperature, which protects the battery and maximises its service life in tropical conditions. Fitted as standard on every unit we supply, because it makes a real difference to battery longevity in Thailand.

Plugged in to mains or a generator, the IC121040 passes the supply straight through to your sockets and recharges the battery bank at up to 40 A. Unplug, and it switches to inverting from the battery by itself in under 30 milliseconds, so fridges, card readers and laptops carry on. One unit does the work of an inverter, a mains charger and a changeover switch.
| Laptop charger | about 65 W |
| Compressor fridge | 40–100 W running, 5× to start |
| Fan, TV, lights, router | 10–60 W each |
| Microwave | about 1,000 W |
| Espresso machine | 1,200–1,500 W while heating |
| Induction hob | 1,800–2,000 W on full |
The IC121040 gives 1,000 W continuous with a 2,000 W peak for motors starting. Add up what runs at the same time and keep it under the continuous figure. Sizing a food truck or coffee cart? 230 V power for food trucks walks through the arithmetic.
At full load the IC121040 draws about 94 A from a 12 V bank. Size the bank from what you run and for how long, not from the inverter's rating. Worked example, the same one as in our food truck guide: a coffee machine and fridge averaging 300–500 W across a six-hour day draw about 200–250 Ah, and Fullriver rate the DC series to 80% depth of discharge, so the bank is about 300 Ah. For this model we usually pair one DC210-12 (210 Ah).
KISAE's manual asks for at least AWG 2 (34 mm²) DC cable, no longer than 1.5 m (5 ft), with a fuse or breaker of at least 150 A at the battery. The KISAE AWG 2 cable and fuse set is made for it.
The charger can be set to 5, 10, 20 or 40 A. Fullriver recommend a bulk current of about 20% of the bank's capacity, so the full 40 A suits that 210 Ah bank, and the lower settings suit smaller banks. Not sure what you need? The sizing calculator gives a first answer and an engineer checks it for free.
The inverter-charger with its detachable remote panel, the owner's manual and a free BTS-10K battery temperature sensor. DC cable, fuse and lugs are not included.
If it plugs in to mains regularly, one inverter-charger is simpler to wire and switches over by itself. If it never sees mains, a pure sine wave inverter with a DC-DC charger does the job.
This model is a special order: we bring it in for you and confirm the lead time before you pay.
It carries KISAE's manufacturer's warranty, and we handle any claim for you in Thailand. Special-order items are covered for faults, damage and wrong items rather than change of mind. Full details on the returns page.
