Every compatible Kisae charger we supply ships with a free BTS-10K battery temperature sensor — temperature-compensated charging matches the charge voltage to your battery’s real temperature, which protects the battery and maximises its service life in tropical conditions. Fitted as standard on every unit we supply, because it makes a real difference to battery longevity in Thailand.

From the KISAE Abso DMT series owner’s manual, section 5 (Recommended Cable Length, Size and Fuse Protection) for the DMT1230 — the manual is under Downloads:
| Connexion | Cable | Fuse |
|---|---|---|
| CH1 — house battery (charger output) | AWG 8 / 10 mm², run under 1.5 m | 40 A, DC-rated, within 18 cm of the battery |
| CH3 — alternator / starter battery input | AWG 6 / 16 mm², run under 1.5 m | 50 A, DC-rated, within 18 cm of the battery |
| CH2 — solar input | 12 V / 300 W panel: AWG 12 / 4 mm², run under 6 m | 20 A (size to the actual array: total panel short-circuit current plus a margin) |
Keep the run from the charger to the house battery as short as possible. For longer runs size the cable at 3 % voltage drop with our cable size calculator. Solar input: 14.5–50 V input, 30 A maximum; around 500 W of 12 V panels (600 W absolute maximum with KISAE’s 20 % overdrive allowance).
For a vehicle with a smart (variable-voltage) alternator, connect an ignition-live or engine-running positive signal to the Contrôle terminal: above 10.5 V it switches CH3 to the low start-up and low recovery thresholds (12.3 V start, 12.0 V recovery) so the charger keeps working when the alternator drops its voltage. Use a signal that is live only with the engine running, so the starter battery is never drawn down with the engine off. Send us the vehicle model and we will mark the wires up for you.
| DMT1230 | 12 V, 30 A, alternator and MPPT solar inputs |
| DMT1250 | 12 V, 50 A, alternator and MPPT solar inputs |
| DMT12100 | 12 V, 100 A, alternator and MPPT solar inputs |
| DMT2430 | 24 V, 30 A, alternator and MPPT solar inputs |
Choose the output by the house battery bank and the alternator: a bigger bank recharges faster with more amps, and the charger should draw comfortably less than the alternator can give. Tell us the vehicle or boat, the alternator and the bank on LINE and we will confirm the model.
KISAE's recommended fuse, maximum cable length and cable size for the DMT1230:
| House battery (output) | 40 A fuse, under 1.5 m, AWG 8 (10 mm²) |
| Solar panel input (12 V array) | 20 A fuse, under 6 m, AWG 12 (4 mm²) |
| Alternator / starter battery input (12 V) | 50 A fuse, under 1.5 m, AWG 6 (16 mm²) |
Connect an ignition or engine-running signal to the Control terminal so the charger only draws from the starter battery while the engine runs; this is what makes it work with smart alternators. Solar input: up to 500 W of 12 V panels (600 W maximum). The 2 × 30 A fuse listed in the specification is inside the charger; the fuses in this table are the external ones you fit at each battery and at the solar input. Ingress protection IP32; operating range −20 °C to 60 °C.
The DMT1230 charger and owner's manual, plus the BTS-10K battery temperature sensor we add free. Cable, fuses and lugs are not included; the remote display is an optional extra.
Yes. Lithium is one of the selectable battery types, alongside Gel, AGM and Flooded, and Program mode lets you set the charge voltage your battery maker specifies.
Yes. Wire the Control terminal to an ignition or engine-running signal and the charger keeps charging when the alternator voltage drops.
This model is a special order: we bring it in for you and confirm the lead time before you pay.
