About this product
SmartBank Advanced turns Merlin's SmartGauge battery monitor into the brain of a split-charge system. Because SmartGauge already knows the true state of charge of each bank, the system connects and separates the banks at exactly the right moment rather than on a fixed voltage, and it keeps re-tuning itself as batteries age or a charger is changed. The SmartGauge display doubles as the control panel: voltage and state of charge for each bank, plus manual override of the split charging.
Full kits include the SmartGauge, the contactors, the control box and the interface cable. If you already own a SmartGauge, the upgrade kits supply everything except the gauge.
